I was at a concert in New Orleans and when I reached the counter to place my drink order the lady kept looking at me strangely, like she was trying to figure something out. She realized her distraction and asked me if anyone ever told me I resembled Mel Robbins. I had no idea who Mel Robbins was, so I told her no. She seemed to be taken aback by the resemblance. I remember quickly looking Mel Robbins up, to see who she was and if there was a resemblance. I hardly see a resemblance between the two of us, but I’m taken aback that this encounter was the first time I ever heard of Mel. Who doesn’t know Mel Robbins!!! She is my HERO, and I’m flattered that anyone would find any type of resemblance with such an incredible and respectful person. I’ll forever remember that moment!
