On January 1st, I chose Flow as my word for 2025—hoping to embrace ease, movement, and trust in the process. I couldn’t have imagined what would come next.

On January 27th, life turned upside down and on February 3rd, I lost Steven, my husband of 36-years. He was my partner, my rock, my encourager in health, faith, and every corner of life. The grief is deep, the days feel different, and “flow” has taken on a new meaning.
Since I haven’t written since the start of the year, I just wanted to share that I’m still here, still moving—some days gently, some days with effort, but always with intention. My focus has shifted from striving to simply showing up. From pushing to being present. This space has always been about active living and mindful moves—and now, that includes giving myself grace through grief.
I’ll be sharing more soon, including the simple wellness steps I’m taking as I approach my college graduation in August. Thank you for still being here.
With gratitude,
Lisa
