Grounding

Imagine taking off your shoes and walking barefoot on a soft, grassy lawn or a sandy beach. That simple act, known as grounding, can have surprising health benefits. It can help you sleep better at night, reduce stress, and even improve your mood. By reconnecting with the Earth, you might find yourself feeling more relaxed and balanced, just like how spending time in nature can make you feel refreshed and recharged.

As I continue to be open-minded about holistic health, I continue to explore. Even though I have been rolling my eyes at the idea of grounding, this all makes perfect sense. Thinking back on my childhood and the excitement of walking on the grass barefoot and the heavenly feeling of walking on the beach with that ‘ahhhhh’ feeling, yeah, I’m game. It seems grounding is just a natural way to reconnect with the simple joys that made us feel so alive and at peace when we were kids, while reaping the health benefits!
