If you could meet a historical figure, who would it be and why?

Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States, is the historical figure I would like to meet as my US History class, which covered the time up to 1877, draws to an end this semester. Lincoln’s legacy is more meaningful to me now that I know more about the Gettysburg Address, the Emancipation Proclamation, and the Union’s preservation. His eloquence, leadership abilities, and dedication to justice have inspired people all around the world.
