Who is the most famous or infamous person you have ever met?

Anyone who knows me well, knows that it doesn’t take much for me to get starstruck. Imagine being told that a gala you are (reluctantly) going to, will have a few stars 🌟 Imagine that you are a HUGE Dr. Phil fan, watch his show religiously and you find out HE will be there 😎 To say that I was starstruck is an understatement. It was like an outer body experience. When I saw him, I yelled out “Dr. Phil!”, he turned around and we made eye contact. I blurted out “I LOVE YOU!”🥰 Thankfully he didn’t call security to have me escorted out of the building, but instead he graciously took a picture with me. Thanks to my AMAZING husband, it was the first of 3 times that I would meet him. Steven won the auction item to go to his show in Los Angeles, and the following year Dr. Phil and Robin returned to New Orleans for the Black & Gold Gala. I get excited just thinking about these memories 🥰

In 2014, I had the honor of meeting Susan Lucci ~ the one and only Erica Kane ~ while at the Breakers in Palm Beach for a MP Conference. She was so gracious and kind.

When Steven knows that I want something, he’s going to do his best to make it happen. When we found out that Christian LeBlanc, aka Michael Baldwin from Young & The Restless, and a few of his cast mates were going to be in town, he bought tickets for me and my Mom. We were absolutely STARTSTRUCK to meet him and his TV wife, Lauren Fenmore. To top it off there was an auction item to TOUR the Y&R Studio and MEET the cast. Yep, you guessed it. Steven made sure he won that item so that me, my Mom and daughter could experience this once in a lifetime event. It was EVERYTHING and MORE!!!

Another MP Conference brought the opportunity to meet Keith Morrison in 2018. A local brought up his name and told us which Starbucks he went to every morning. Well, yes of course I went to Starbucks to hangout. The first time I went, I struck out. At the encouragement of Steven, we went one more time. We finished our coffee and called for our Uber. As we were getting up to leave, he enters!!! He was so friendly and humorous. We took a picture and our Uber showed up in a black Escalade and he watched us drive off. I bet he was wonder who WE were 🤣 Stay tuned on Dateline Mysteries…..

I had the honor of meeting Jen Fulwiler, my Catholic talk show celebrity and author of Something Other Than God and Your Blue Flame at an Abide Conference in Lafayette, LA in 2019. Absolutely love and respect her journey into the Catholic faith. I met her again in 2021 when she came to our hometown to speak at a Catholic event, Legatus. Super nice and humble person.

Let’s talk about the GMA family that I had the honor of meeting when I was in the audience in October 2018. Steven & I were in NYC for business and to visit our son who was living there at the time. While the men were working, I ventured off bright and early and took my place in line. I just made it!!! Everyone behind me was sent on their way. I was laser focused on meeting Robin Roberts and was super excited at the opportunity. Bonus was meeting Ginger Zee and Amy Robach. Amy was standing right next to the row where I was seated. I made small talk with her and asked for a pic. I was so excited and nervous that I couldn’t stand up!!! She squatted down to my level and snapped a pic. What a memorable time ❤️

In 2021, I attended my first IDEA Health & Fitness convention. Dr. Rick Richey, my National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) hero was in attendance, and not only did I meet him but he WON the IDEA Personal Trainer of the Year. I was besides myself to meet him. Super nice and funny guy and he remains my HERO 💪🏼

Can I get a Woot-Woot for Lacee Green, winner of the IDEA Emerging Trailblazer of the Year. Also met Billy Blanks, Tae Bo creator, and although I didn’t personally meet Elaine LaLanne, to be in her presence was breathtaking. Such a legend.
