Walking for Health

How often do you walk or run?

Walking has always been the foundation of my health and fitness. When I recommitted to my health in 2015, I started with a walk around the block just to get some movement in. With consistency came growth and as my strength and stamina grew, so did my distance and time.

My favorite hashtag for walking is #walkingisgoodforthesoul. It truly is. Walking gives me mental clarity, fresh air, the opportunity to spend time in nature, all while offering a multitude of physical benefits.

Having said all of this, my ideal morning begins with a walk with my beloved pups anywhere from 5-7 times a week and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
