It’s been an incredible journey witnessing Steven check off not just one, but TWO bucket list items in the past couple of weeks!

A huge shoutout to Alex & Gina for making the US Open dream come true. You truly made the experience extra special, and we had a blast creating new memories with you and your family.

I couldn’t help but fall in love with the amazing Coco Gauff, who went on to WIN. She’s a true champion in every sense, just like my idol Shannon Miller. Her focus and humility shine so brightly. And seeing Novak Djokovic was absolutely awesome. He went above and beyond with his fans after his win, taking time to greet and sign items. 🎾
Our last day in NYC was filled with exploring our favorite spots in Union Square, including a much-needed visit to Irving Farm Coffee ☕! Peloton was a blast too, and next time we’ll be better prepared for live classes. 🚴♂️ I tried to surprise Dr. Rick Richey at his new gym (Independent Training Spot), my fitness hero, but of course, I ended up at the wrong address 😩

The icing on the cake was FaceTiming Nicholas while visiting his former apartment complex, and his doorman was there – it felt like no time had passed (even though it’s been 3+ years!). Our last meal was a delicious one at Emilio Ballato’s. 🍝

While watching Coco on the court, I couldn’t help but draw an analogy between Algebra and the US Open. Coco has been training and climbing the ranks for this moment, much like my journey with Algebra. Learning the formulas, advancing with each lesson, and facing tests like tournaments. My US Open? The final exam. 📚🎾
