Why do you blog?
I launched this blog in response to the frequent inquiries about the ‘secret’ behind my successful weight loss journey, so on October 5, 2017, Life With Lisa was born. Initially focused on my healthy lifestyle, it has since evolved to include a broader range of topics, including my sobriety, travel adventures, and family experiences. My passion for both writing and all things related to health and fitness fuels my enthusiasm. A sincere THANK YOU to all of my followers for joining me in my journey.

Here is a short summary:
⚡️Started my weight loss journey at the age of 49 (in 2015)
⚡️Lost and successfully kept 50+ weight loss off
⚡️LifeStyle of health & fitness developed through gradual changes
⚡️Moderation & Balance is key 🔑
⚡️Sobriety gives me the freedom to pursue my passion
⚡️Married to Steven for almost 35 years; Empty Nester; mother to 2 adult children; Lee Lee to 3 (soon to be 4) perfect grandchildren 😇❤️ and one grandpup 🐶❤️
⚡️Dog mom to 2 perfect labradoodles, Buster & Boomer 🐶
Since embarking on this journey in 2015, new chapters of my life continue to unfold in my world of health & fitness and I have received each one with an open mind. I continue to seek new horizons by stepping out of my comfort zone.
My journey has also lead me to earn my Certification in Personal Training through the National Academy of Sports Medicine in December 2019, my certification in Nutrition Coaching in April 2020 and now a college student at UL Lafayette pursuing my degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Health Promotion & Wellness.
I have proven over the past several years that you are never too old, and its never too late to better yourself. I am a work in progress, I am not an expert, but I AM pushing towards my goals everyday and honored to help others.
